June 1, 2016 - Drinking very well indeed. Just a hint of tobacco and leather on the finish but showing just a tad hot. Very good value wine for ageing.

May 16, 2016 - based upon other reviews I was cautious - however I was surprised by how well the wine held up. I decanted t he wine for one hour plus. It had very nice structure with good acidity -and little tannins to contend with. Dark fruit gave way to pepper and licorice

February 6, 2016 - Mature. Perfect to drink now. Typical corvina flavors. Quite low acidity. Sweet sour cherries, raisins, some tobacco flavors, round fruit structure. Warm. Very little tannin. Not the most complex wine , but good.

November 13, 2015 - Deep, dark and dense in color, with still a lot of fruit on nose and palate.
A concentrated and fruit driven wine with some mature tannins and a slight acidity to balance the mature fruit. A slight disappointment at my first taste, probably as the bottle came straight from the cellar and was to cold, but as I decanted it, and the temperature rose, it seemed to evolve beautifully with a slight higher temperature. Probably best to take my last bottles of this wine soon.

April 6, 2015 - Still drinks beautifully with lots of fruit present.
