Community Tasting Notes 1

September 21, 2007 - clear, dark lemon colored still wine with no discernible rim, tears medium to form and fall, med- intensity nose: medium- intensity, light butter, light yeast, youthful palate: body is medium, finish is medium, just the slightest hint light fluffy croissant, no real fruit, no real sense of oak though the color indicates oak aging. This Chardonnay from the Macon region of southern Burgundy shows the ripeness of the region and notes of focused citrus with pleasant mineral and stone hints. The palate is a light medium with a soft and gentle finish.
