June 2, 2014 - This bottle was one of those "orphaned" wines that litter my cellar. Don't know when or why I bought it, but it's been sitting around for a while. BBQ'ed some ribs and thought it might go well with the food. Turns out this wine was pretty good.

The tanins were in check and it had some acidity that went well with the ribs. Still quite a bit of fruit which I also liked. I didn't finish the bottle so it will be interesting to see how it tastes tomorrow. I doubt I would buy more, but I was pleasantly surprised.

EDIT: Day 3 and the wine has deteriorated substantially. No depth and tasting very alcoholic. Wasn't built to last!

August 21, 2010 - Very nice QPR base on price paid. Very nice full nose with very smooth tannins. Great everyday Cab

March 14, 2010 - Blueberry juice with crushed pop corns on top. Sweetened by a shooter of licquor de cassis.

January 18, 2010 - Was not terrible, but really nothing that stood out. Felt "thin"...no punch of fruit on the open, mid pallate or finish. Again, nothing offensive, just really had no personality

October 12, 2009 - Aromas of blackberry, black tea, and hints of leather. The wine is concentrated and structured with a ripe fruit core of dark berry fruit. The palate is round and full and leads to a lingering finish. Enjoyable. Cheers!
