  October 18, 2020 - I was lucky enough to visit the Eden Valley and the beautiful Pewsey Vale vineyard at the beginning of 2020 - a simpler time. The 2016 is just beginning to open up and put on a bit of weight. The nose is really seductive and gives up lots of lychee, beeswax, crushed coriander seed, lime, petrol and a hint of jasmine. The palate is quite rich but still really fresh with amazing acidity, lemon grass, lime, granny-smith apple as well as plenty of minerality on the crisp, lengthy finish. An Australian classic that has at least 7+ years ahead of it (2 x bottles consumed 6 months apart with consistent notes)
