April 8, 2023 - Day 1 - Nose - intensely and vividly citrusy (grapefruit, lemon, hassaku orange), with a touch of sandalwood and camomile. Dense creamy texture, there is soft and smooth “bite” like thick gelatin gelly, wrapping the tightly knitted fine acidity. Long and clean aftertaste with some maltiness that entices next sip. My wife said “tastes like cool climate and hot climate combined”. Big but polished and balanced, doesn’t feel like 14.5% abv.
Day 2 - gained additional layers of ripe papaya, pineapple, and pear on fruits-side, and pine/apple wood on subtle oak-side. Full of yeasty sweet umami, without cloudiness, like sur lee. 92-93.2 people found this helpful Comment -

December 31, 2022 - YES_interim. Good fresh wine, well made, with light floral notes and good acidity. Maybe too early to tell what it will be. Does not seem to be notably great or complex (ie. does not now measure us to its cost).

July 15, 2022 - (Wine BBQ) #1 or #2 wine of the tasting -- lovely wine full of energy. Young with a lot of potential, could warrant 91-92 with age.
