Aromatic Intensity: M
Sweetness: Dry

Tannin Nature: Ripe, fine-grained
Alcohol: High (13.5%)
Body: Full
Flavor Intensity: M
Aroma & Flavor Characteristics: Red cherry, red plum, charred wood, vanilla, clove, dried leaves, forest floor, tobacco. Light balsamic vinegar and barnyard.
Other Observations: Lacking harmony
Finish: M/M+
Quality: Good. Alcohol was a little out of balance.
Aging: Not suitable. While there is sufficient acid, tannin, and alcohol for aging, the fruit would not gain in complexity, and therefore the wine would not improve with age.1 person found this helpful Comment -

April 29, 2023 - Definitely a Washington State Cab. A little thin and slightly bitter but got better with some air, but still much different from Napa Cab. I got a closeout bargain at 70% off list so no complaints.
