October 9, 2022 - Not a wine I expect to have access to again, bought in a small wine shop in Aix-en-Provence. They had access to one case, and by the evening it had all gone. This is a fresh, bright and precise Bourgogne Blanc, certainly punches above its weight. With notes of White nectarines, white florals, citrus tart and fennel. The palate was round with a touch of richness yet chalky, with notes of tart orchard fruit, crushed stones and crushed florals. That fennel keeps coming back!, the mid palate shows sufficient weight yet persistence, with a lingering and slightly sweet spice finish.
