Community Tasting Notes 2

December 19, 2023 - A really really nice cab. Maybe a little young, and a little tartness. But really rich and robust and smooth.

January 3, 2022 - Splash double decant. Deep dark purple magenta color. Vanilla extract, bay leaf, with dark fruit in the background, on the painfully youthful nose. Smooth , tongue drying palate. Very firm tannins on the longish finish.

My score is partly based on potential. It’s not as good as the ‘18, but is still nice and could blossom with more cellar time (and a good decant).
