January 30, 2024 - This is very, very good! Dark color, exceptional nose with lots of black currant, oak, cigar box, and blackberry. A little soft on the palate, but lashings of dark fruit, acidity, and mild tannins. Smooth finish. I think this may continue to improve for a couple of years. Really liked this. Would buy again, and highly recommend.

October 25, 2023 - Medium full body, oak, round, balanced, some length.

July 11, 2023 - Kendall Jackson (Dan Murphy's, Lane Cove): Ripe, slightly concentrated blackcurrant, that is more compote than jam, married to a very slight pyrazine underpin. Juicy, medium plus intensity acidity, super chewy, grippy tannins are massively persistent though quite silky textured, the blackcurrant pyrazine follow this, slight alcohol warmth intrudes slightly on the finish. Okay.

October 3, 2022 - Light floral nose. Nice entry, well balanced, medium bodied deep plum and dark fruit, touch of acid, bit of chocolate, concentrated with just enough tannin to add interest and saturated mouthfeel. I really enjoy the natural taste unblemished by artificial wood and reduction so common to Cali Cabs at this price point.

September 16, 2022 - Bright and juicy, with fleshy notes of dark fruit, currants, licorice and fresh herbs. It shows youthful grip but it is so balanced that it is already drinking splendidly, especially for its level.
