April 12, 2024 - What COOPER just said. We shared this bottle at a local wine bar. We agreed on everything about it (blackberry, tea, pepper, warm earth and roasted meat) except which Northern Rhone commune it most closely resembled--he thought Cornas, where I thought it had the additional celery and stronger white pepper notes of high-end St. Joe (like Gonon). Commendably, only 13.9% abv. Truly outstanding.

April 11, 2024 - Deep garnet red. Great nose of blackberry, tea, pepper, warm earth and roasted meat. Dry earthy berry flavours with a dry balanced pepper tinged finish.
