December 16, 2023 - Sommelier suggested pairing with eggnog creme brulee. I didn't consider myself a dessert wine guy but this might have changed my mind. Absolutely delicious!

March 21, 2023 - Holy smokes is this good. Honey, boysenberry, toffee, tangerine, marmelade. Silky smooth. First time trying a Chianti dessert wine as my only other exposure to dessert wines are Sauternes. Wish I had more, a fantastic effort.

October 18, 2022 - Highly aromatic, honey, dried citrus, sultana raisin, spar varnish, toasted nut, and peach cobbler nose. Lusciously sweet palate with significant acidity for balance; long evolved, complex finish with lingering butterscotch notes.

June 24, 2022 - Peach and apricot jam with some caramelized sugar and spices. Lovely and bitter aftertaste that balances the wine very nicely. Loved it!

January 30, 2022 - From a 375 ml. Golden amber/orange in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of very ripe fruit aromas of yellow peaches, apricots, raisins & dried figs with overtones of caramel & toffee, floral notes of honeysuckle, orange rind, spices, minerals & a hint of honey. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, unctuous, ripe fruit flavors of yellow peaches, dried apricots, golden raisins & figs with spices, caramel, minerals & honey. Long lingering sweet finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the structure & ripe fruit to continue developing with additional aging.
