August 6, 2023 - Very typical top flight Riesling. Bright light to medium lemon yellow. Slight petrol, minerals and white peach on the nose. Nice oily texture. Long and complex palate with wet stones, more white peach, mixed citrus and pear. Great finish.

April 27, 2023 - Nose is high tones with lime and lemon and stones. Palate then is spectacular and energetic. Smooth mouthfeel, super fresh with an impressive salinity. You have to have a thing for these salty wines, but if you do its heaven. Almost no fruit and very saline and texture driven. Finishes very clean, smooth and long. This will hold 15-20 years easily. At a price point of EUR 35, this is a bargain.

March 9, 2023 - German Riesling (Five Way Cellars, Paddington): (decanted) Slaty, the fruit 'pops' a touch more showing stone fruit again, floral notes. Medium plus intensity acidity, far more palate weight here as well, tangy, fleshy. Lovely - the decant definitely helps a lot

March 9, 2023 - German Riesling (Five Way Cellars, Paddington): (undecanted) sulphur, slaty minerality, muted stone fruit which opens a little with time. Medium plus intensity acidity, slaty minerality, tangy, a little meaty almost a touch of wild ferment, touch of citrus joins the muted stone fruit. Long. Okay.

October 8, 2021 - Mosel weekend; 10/7/2021-10/10/2021 ((Punderich, Bernkastel, Lieser, Wehlen, Mulheim) Mosel, Germany): [Tasting at Clemens Busch] Obviously too young. Quite subtle, grapefruit, little of white peach, minerality
