February 20, 2024 - This pours light ruby in the glass. The nose is expressive and appealing with modest complexity. The predominantly fruit driven aromas show red cherry, pomegranite, grapefruit, peonies, pine needles, and a touch of new leather. The palate is light and elegant entering on the tart red fruit. The mid-palate shows medium minus tannin and medium plus acid with a touch fo grapefruit pith. The finish isn't terribly long but is appealing with tart grapefruit and cranberry closing things out. All in all this is a significantly better showing then when tasted a couple of years back. Seems a couple of years of age and lessened the reduction despite the screwcap. This is a tidy little wine that I find quite appealing.

November 5, 2023 - Very funky bouquet, like a combination of mushrooms and blood. Bouquet was much fruitier the second day, with pronounced intense cherry. Dark fruit flavors, good acidity, mild tannins. Very different from any other Pinot I've had. Really good stuff!
