April 5, 2024 - A private dinner (Restaurant Zoldering *, Amsterdam, NL): A elizabeth 2020. Silk and cream, roses and spices, red cherries, orange zest, hint of reduction, gentle but firm tannins, elegant weight and style, convincing finish. Excellent Dolcetto.

July 21, 2022 - This one made Jessie remember why she loves this grape. Medium intensity nose of red cherries, blueberries, licorice, black plum, and some kind of herbal note -- maybe a bit of violet. The palate was lovely. Dry, definitely high acid, but with full flavor, including blackberry, black cherry, cola, baking spice (overall, you could say blackberry pie). Intense and assertive.
