January 21, 2024 - Big and bold, but not too jammy! Opened up fairly quick and is drinking beautifully now

November 16, 2022 - One of the best Napa cabs I recently drank, bordeaux like, special bottle.

November 7, 2022 - Trinity Wines tasting (Stavros Niarchos): 7ha, mostly Cabernet Sauvignom with equal amounths of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, 2nd vintage
Big bold in the nose, full on fruit, black cherry, berry, very fresh, a touch smoky, oak frame
Palate big, olive paste, dense, cherry, warmth from 15.7%, licorice, very dense, almost bitter green freshness, med to full body, med finish
    Really youthful

April 12, 2022 - Napa Trip - Trying new wines and meeting new people; 4/11/2022-4/12/2022 (Napa): Very similar to the '16 but I preferred the '17 more as the fruits were a bit more giving on the nose and on the palate. Seemed to be more accessible now than the '16 at the time. The dense thicket and wild undergrowth gets chopped down a few layers which really allows you to enjoy more of the fruit, earth and minerals more. Something about the '17 vintage.. it's not bad at all and quite tasty now!

April 12, 2022 - Spring 2022 Dream Napa Trip; 4/11/2022-4/12/2022: The 17’ felt more approachable than the 16’ today and felt more “Napa” than its bigger 16’ sibling. I preferred this over the 16’ today, but the 16’ will most likely come out the victor long term. On the nose, I get a strong sense of earth, ground coffee, spices with an underlying fruit component.
