May 3, 2024 - Stunning pinot! Complex, fine tannins, notes of raspberry, forest floor, rose petals. Pnp, no decanting opened up in glass during 90 minute dinner (delicious with duck confit). Hoping I can get more!!

Im Gaumen kompakt, superfeines Tannin, sehr schöne Säure, die Harmonie ist bestechend, die Frucht ist knackig, zieht sich im Abgang lange hin. Ausgezeichnete Qualität. Jetzt bis 2035+

November 19, 2023 - Spectacular already - elegantly perfumed rose, floral notes and Turkish delight introduce the nose, followed by darker plum, rhubarb, crushed raspberries, sour cherry and emerging notes of wild hedgerow. The palate is superbly fresh, lifted and pure, with a juicy, driven power. Clean, chalky and lifted, yet laden with suave red fruit. So pure and so beautiful. 94+

November 10, 2023 - This wine is dark and saturated and sweet and resembles a good Pommard or may be Gevrey.
Forest floor, dark fruit, underbrush, hints of flowers and spices, wet earth. Quite long on the finish, but not super long. Definitely the best nz Pinot I have had.
