May 26, 2013 - Popped and poured about 30 minutes later. Light in color. Nose was not very discernible. Initially, it had a bit of a bite. Could have been acid or alcohol-heat. It mellowed a bit later on. Burgundian flavors. Little finish. Okay Pinot, nothing special. A bit over the hill. Drink now!

April 14, 2013 - Light in color, good clarity. Sour cherry, mushroom and earth on the nose. Palate isn't quite following through. Decent fruit up front, but as it rolls to the finish it gets sour and bitter. I really like the burgundian sour cherry notes, but this is bitter. A bit thin and astringent. It was ok, but the finish was a letdown. Past peak already.
