February 28, 2024 - Nose - woodsmoke, forest loam snd slightly peppery.
Palate- Dark fruit and light tannins, smooth snd silky, full bodied, long finish. Delicious with meat balls, mac and cheese snd green beans.

December 9, 2023 - I liked this better than the last bottle. It’s still a CA fruit bomb, but it was longer than others have assessed it. I’d buy it again.

November 16, 2023 - Not a typical Petite Sirah. Tannins are chalkier than expected for a PS, almost resembling an evolving cab. Dark fruit notes with a very short finish. Not a bad wine, but it’s a mixed bag. Paired with French bread and olive oil infused with orange peel extract expecting the typical fruit forwardness of PS would offset the bitterness from the orange peel. It did not go well with the orange peel’s bitterness crossing swords with the chalky tannins. The pairing was much better after mixing some balsamic vinegar with the olive oil. Though 5 year old Petite Sirahs are not expected to have much acidity left, this one may hold up another year or two in the cellar.

July 24, 2023 - Solid wine that could use another 2-3 yrs if cellaring imo. Enjoy with some grilled meats.

June 20, 2023 - Wonderful! Medium to full body, Slightly smokey, juicy dark fruits, Dark forest notes.
Paired tonight with tamales and rice and a wonderful sauce with a shredded Broccoli slaw.
    A heavenly meal!
6-21-23. Had the other half of the bottle with spinach tortellini, Alfredo sauce with chopped walnuts Danish blue cheese, and diced Pippin Apple.- And a piece of whole wheat sourdough bread. This was a perfect pairing and absolutely wonderful.
