December 2, 2022 - This wine is a deep ruby in color with a garnet rim variation. The nose is composed of compost, ripe red raspberries, ripe dark cherries, ripe red apple, turned earth, crushed rock, tobacco smoke, overripe strawberries, anise, cranberry, and bay leaf. This wine is developing. The palate is composed of red apple, fresh strawberries, cranberry, anise, crushed rock, and ripe red raspberry. Acidity is med, tannins are med+, high complexity, med ABV, and the length is long. This is a very good wine that can be drunk now, but is suitable for further ageing.

November 24, 2021 - Did not decant. Right into glass.
    Plum red.
    Bricking at the rim.

    Nose:
    Cranberry
    Cherry
    Wet Stone

    Medium bodied.

    Lighter for a "bold" wine?

Mellowed red fruit. Light tobacco. Dry stone.

    Tannins have mellowed out.

Smooth, narrow texture. Does not linger long.

    Would revisit. May order more.

The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are fast. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like cranberry, prune, cherry, stoniness, cedar and meaty. It tastes like cranberry, raspberry, plum and stoniness. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
