December 26, 2023 - After 1 hour in decanter:
Saturated, dark purple/black. The nose is showing green notes of bell pepper, green olive, tomato vine and coffee bean. Med-full bodied, this is showing as fairly tannic with ripe blackberry and black cherries, wood ash/graphite as well as bay leaf and oak. Still a baby, this gets rounder and fuller as it crosses the palate. The tannins are a bit present, but of good quality and should resolve in just a few years. Drink 2027-2031+ 92

More and more coffee dominates this wine. I don't plan to purchase more. 92 -
