  January 28, 2024 - Really delicious, pure, rich cabernet fruit. Great stuff. Still tannic, but the tannins seem as though they are from the fruit rather than from oak (and Cameron's notes say it was aged in completely neutral barrels).
  
  Much better than n.54 which was purportedly from the same winery but the 2018 vintage. Not that n.54 is bad.

  September 17, 2023 - One of the better de Negoce Cabernet Sauvignon’s enjoyed to date. Drank over two days, with food on Day 2. In spite of decanting on Day 1, this presents as somewhat primary: a melange of undefined black fruits; oak, mocha, and swampy earth. On Day 2, everything had come together, fruits and structure are far better integrated, and far more enjoyable. Drink now with a long decant and food, or hold and drink through 2032. Upside potential.

  April 30, 2023 - Classically-styled Sonoma mountain cabernet. Reminds me of classic Napa cabernet. Red and black fruits with some spice, menthol, and a touch of blueberry. This is a very elegant wine with 14% alcohol, and is a beautiful representation of Sonoma Mountain.
  Purported to be Smith Story, this is what I hope n.54 eventually becomes, with elegance, yet a rounded balance of true mountain cabernet with a touch of saline and a lasting finish.
