December 31, 2023 - This "fire wine" has been a real treat from my perspective. They combined all their fruit in 2020, declassified everything and just called it "Willamette Valley" then chose to sell it for 75% off their typical single vineyard prices. You can taste the smoke for sure but it really lends a new and unique quality to the wine. Pair it with food as if it were say a Syrah instead of a Pinot and you'll be rewarded. I managed to find two cases of this one and already polished off one of them.

November 9, 2023 - PNP. Nice combination of earthy, forest floor and muted red fruits. Smokey and (soft) sour cherry. Good acidity allows the fruit to still stand out and carry into the finish. Held up to Dijon-Honey Arctic Char. I liked it!
