March 25, 2024 - This is drinking well now and has many years left on it. A delicious, elegant Syrah with a lively profile of berries, herbs, and crushed violet. We just love Lagier Meredith and drink every bottle with appreciation for their expertise and the TLC they show in their wines. Be sure to decant.

July 4, 2023 - The young bottle in a young and old pairing of California Syrah for July 4. I had read a note that this was surprisingly open for business, so wanted to have one soon. Well it's true. Much like the 2016 LM Syrah, the 2019 is showing extremely well now, with great balance of blackberry fruit, some herbal accents, and fantastic palate depth. For pure fun it's great now, but it has all the stuffing and also structure to age just as well as any other Lagier Meredith Syrah.
