July 1, 2023 - Such an interesting and delicious wine. Initially just hits as you'd expect, with some nice leesiness and integrated oak, mid-weight wine with no surprises. But my experience with this wine, with this bottle as with others before it, is that with air it unfurls, showing some floral notes and a saltiness that you can also find in the Spatburgunder from this vineyard. I'm glad the Knipsers make this wine.
