    July 8, 2023 - APPEARANCE: Golden colour with a slight yellow-green tint. 11.5% ABV.
NOSE: Lovely mature Riesling nose with primarily ripe tropical fruits; apricot, peach, lime, lemon, even some mango. Also Gravenstein apple. Some wet slate minerality and a hint of flint smoke. (93p)
TASTE: Juicy, tropical, citrusy, viscous - almost buttery, ripe sweet lemons, apricot and mango. Gradually more and more stone minerality. Quite a bit of rounded, ripe citric acidity (originally 12.3 g/L) but it’s wrapped in enough ripe fruitiness that it just makes for a very juicy taste experience. A nice mild fruit stone bitterness towards the end of the taste curve. Lovely. (93p)
OVERALL: A great mature Riesling which drinks superbly now but should keep for several more years. TOTAL SCORE 93 points.

May 19, 2020 - pretty gold color; a bit of spritz on opening the bottle but not on the taste; different wine over three days; started out a bit more flabby with too much apricot; by day two it was crisp with plenty of lychee, pineapple and fine acidity that more than compensated for a trace of sweetness; yellow nectarine and a hint of petrol on day three, still with fine acidity; surprisingly good and add a point for having the extra time to think about this as i am stuck at home in this mess.

May 15, 2020 - Color is clearly yellow and gold like and I thought it could be slightly oxidized when pouring it in the glass, but it wasn't. Perfumed and fruity on the nose, some tropical fruits like pineapple and dragonfruit, in addition to minor hint of petrol. It had good acidity on the palate, dry but with ripe pineapple, peaches, honey ad lyches, all with an mineral undertone that avoided the wine to be too "fat". It has a long finish. The wine is balanced and full of energy, loved it. It will keep for another 2 year or so if perfectly stored.

February 8, 2020 - This was really quite nice. It was a bright medium lemon yellow color. The nose was a fragrant, perfumed and fruity amalgam of tropical fruits especially guava and dragonfruit. The palate had good acidity, seemed totally dry with ripe pineapple, pear, lychee, guava and a mineral undertone and finished with a very long, dare I say, saline quality. Balanced, bright and energetic despite its age...Really lovely!
