October 10, 2021 - Tenuta la Floriana. Verdicchio and Ribona aka Maceratino. Medium lemon yellow. Moderately intense aromas, smelling not musty but somehow enclosed, straw, green tea leaves, some lemon. Dry, richly textured, elevated acidity, a little phenolic bitterness, full-bodied, 14.5°. Saline, first and foremost, citrus, herbal. Pretty serious. What happens with more bottle age? Drunk with falafel, tahini sauce, and arugula.
