January 25, 2024 - Has a wonderful ruby red colour with blue and purple hues. It is quite vibrant in the glass. The nose is clean, fruity with minimal oak influence. There is red fruit and a slight musty smell, which is pleasant. The palate has medium/high acidity, very fine tannins, some spice, liquorice, dark chocolate. The finish is a bit short but this is very high quality. I think probably second only to the Sandrone Dolcetto of the 6/7 I have tried.

June 16, 2023 - This is OK on the price:performance scale but the acids/tannins are a touch on the green side and obscure the hoped-for Dolcetto flavors. Will hope a couple of years in the cellar will change the balance...

November 26, 2022 - Needs air. Not as good as the 2017 on first day. Dusty tannins. Better the following day but still not as nice as the 2017.
