February 14, 2024 - A pleasant surprise, not knowing what to expect when I grabbed a bottle to complete a mixed case for a store discount. Medium to Full bodied. Fruit forward with black currents, plum, red-fruits and vanilla. PNP with excellent QPR. Vinnut's notes on this are spot on.

December 18, 2023 - PNP. Opaque ruby in the glass. Nose is black currant with tobacco and vanilla. Medium acidity and body, soft velvety tannins. Finish of black currants. At $27 best QPR in Napa.

July 26, 2023 - Decanted, let sit for 30 minutes. Dark plums, blackberry, and black currant nose with a touch of oak when tasting. Medium to full body, balanced finish with a touch more black currant.

May 27, 2023 - After 1 hr opening, still unbalanced with sour/unripe fruits leading. After another hour, flavors are balancing and wine develops and gets smoother. Third hour: we finished it. Enjoyable but I wouldn’t spend $40 on this again.
