  February 22, 2024 - Red licorice, cherry Jolly Rancher, vanilla, overripe strawberry, Ceylon Cinnamon, cola, truffle, cardamom, horse sweat. Lengthy, spicy finish.

  November 18, 2023 - Excellent offering from Boars' View that delivers depth, flavor and a richness not usually found in Ft. Ross Seaview wines. It is right up my alley in terms of style and flavor profile. Nice earthy notes with obvious richness and outstanding fruit. Thomas Rivers Brown has sprinkled some magic fairy dust on this one and I immediately had to secure some more.

  November 18, 2023 - Fort Ross, Seaview Calif., 2019 Boars' View Pinot Noir BDR Boars’ View Estate ($54 tasting event, 2022); mid-garnet, viscous (14.1 alc.); not sharp; cherries, red fruit, spice, pumpkin pie nose; low-mid acids; low-mid tannins; softened in one year; round, ripe finish, almost sweet; long red fruit finish. 16 UC Davis scale, 90 other scales.
