September 11, 2023 - A bit harsh in taste - will wait several years for my remaining 5 bottles

July 2, 2023 - Quite pretty. Nose is floral and fuity. Palate shows nice acidity and complexity. Quite long. Really quite nice -- approachable now but seems to have the stuffing to age. Stunned it was Pinotage. Seems a bit more Italian with the acidity, but quite interesting.

March 24, 2023 - Inky, slight purple tinge. The oak is the first thing that gets the nose, then a peppery soft herbal finish. In the mouth, it’s very smooth, fine tannins but a good acidity. The fruit is at the darker/heavier end of the red range, think cherry and plum. Would pair well with a venison or rich game bird. Looking forward to more.

  • Miceri Likes this wine: 91 points

February 4, 2023 - Dark red; nice rich nose of dark berries, a bit of licorice; gentle attack, nice acidity, fine body, a silent lingering slightly concentrated aftertaste; all in all quite nice everyday wine

April 24, 2022 - Medium to dark purple red; fresh berries; easy-going, soft and silky, light expression; more a wine for the terrace in the summer than a food wine
