December 23, 2022 - This Macvin du Jura 2007 is made from 1/3 Marc from 2004 and 2/3 raisin juice from 2007. Bottled on 3 Dec 2020.
Amber colour. Orange peel, mint, caramel, very ripe melon and peach, with a bit of gasoline. It’s slightly sweet, furnished with Amontillado-like oxidative aromas. The more concentrated fruity aromas of Marc such as dried apricot and mandarin stand out. Very clean, and it's more expansive on palate than at nose. Won't feel the heat, this wine matches the festive December a lot!
