    October 24, 2023 - Beautiful wine from a spectacular vintage in Tuscany. My problem is that I can not keep my hands off these bottles in my cellar. ;-)

    October 1, 2023 - Clear red. Red and dark berries with a spray of dried tomatoes scents, some balsamic notes, followed by a bright, elegant but firm mouthfeel, flavors of dark berries and spices spread out, with outstanding juiciness of racy acids in the mid palate, concluding in a long and saline finish. Can be drunk now but so much more potential in 10 years.

    August 22, 2023 - Fantastic bottle of Le Pergole Torte from the 2019 vintage in Chianti. This wine is only produced in the best years and 2019 qualifies. Dense, rich, unctuous - red berry and a long finish from this 100% Sangiovese offering. Will benefit from bottle age, but after 30 minutes it really was outstanding. For those with multiple bottles in your cellar - suggest you try one now.

    July 22, 2023 - Drinking surprisingly well already. This will only get better.

    July 21, 2023 - [Restaurant purchase] At restaurant Andreina*, Loreto, Marche, Italy. Opened 3 hours in advance.

    Medium intensity; warm spices, cherry, cranberry, licorice, floral (roses, violet), minerality, red & black fruit, leather, coffee.
    Keeps developing in the glass. Really light on its feet, elegant, pinot like Sangiovese
    Medium+ tannins, medium+ acidity, long finish. 93++

    Really, really good, even at this young age, better on day 2. I had the Montevertine 2018 a couple of day later and that was also very good and QPR-wise much better
