November 16, 2015 - Medium golden color. Rich yeasty nose with fresh biscuits and flour dust, mixed with yellow apples, apricots and hints of lime. Precise bubbles, superb acid, just tingles the palate but plenty of creaminess. Rich yellow apples, crunchy apricots, tossed with notes of peanut skins, crushed chalk and a hint of salt brine as well. Complex, lively, precise. Disgorged in 2014, this is showing nicely now but has enough power, concentration and zesty acid to last quite a while. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. A total steal for $20.
