April 21, 2024 - A deep dark cab with lots of flavor. Baked berry pie and jammy notes are strongest. Great sipping wine. Loved this one, looking forward to more of this!

March 23, 2024 - This is not a wine for flavor sissies. It is big, it is bold and it is not going to be ignored. It starts with a floral nose, unexpected since the flavors are not any where that subtle. The taste is very big , full purple fruit, medium tannins, leather with a long full dry finish. 56 th anniversary and the wine certainly does not disappoint.

February 14, 2024 - Dark and lovely purple-red with slight fading at the rim. Plums and herbs on the nose. Plush on the palate, but evident structure. Plums, blackberries, cedar, bit of tobacco. Smooth on the mid-palate with chocolate notes. Soft but structured tannins. Gorgeous acidity and balance. Finishes long and subtle with dark fruits and licorice. Beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink next 6 to 8 years.

August 4, 2023 - Dark, brooding red color. Black cherries on the nose. Rich, intense and polished on the palate. Black cherries, blueberry, plums, saddle leather, tobacco. Chocolate notes on the mid-palate. Sweet tannins, lively acidity, great balance. Finishes long and gradual. Great Cab. Should drink well for another 8 to 9 years.

March 17, 2023 - Dark cherry red edge to edge. Aromas of dark cherry and chocolate. Lush, but firmly detailed on the palate, black cherries, tobacco, blackberries, a lovely smoky note. An anise note comes in on the mid-palate. Fine tannins, beautiful acidity, great balance. Finishes long with red fruits. Classic Cab. I'll drink these over the next 5-years but it will probably last longer.
