August 4, 2023 - Somewhat muted nose with currant & dusty berries. Dark fruit up front…berry compote followed by leather, tobacco, pencil. Very Bordeaux in style. Refined & layered. Medium acidity & lingering finish.

June 1, 2023 - Good for entry level Napa cab. Opaque purple color. Mostly muted nose. On the palate- black plum, cassis, blackberry, leather, herbs, just a touch of oak. May be the most Bordeaux styled entry level (sub $50) Napa cab I’ve had. It’s not all fruit and oak here. Quite different than its peer group, but nice. Lighter body than most entry level Napa. Medium-high acid, medium tannin, medium-high alcohol. Balanced. Lacks in intensity and aromatics.
