August 25, 2023 - Medium ruby. Expressive nose of ripe red and dark cherries, cedar, spice, dried herbs in a mineral frame. Light on its feet with balancing acidity and fine tannins, dried herbs and earthy elements, particularly towards the medium finish. Tsapournakos is a Cabernet franc clone found in Velvento in Western Macedonia in Greece. Nice wine. 90+

August 13, 2022 - Dark ruby colour. A noble wine with medium tannins and somewhat lower acidity. Nose of ripe red fruit and sweet oak driven spices. An easy going pleaser without strong personality.
