January 15, 2022 - 93-95+. Very light pale gold color. Bouquet of peach pit, stone, citrus, mineral, stone, slate, salt. Medium bodied, extremely concentrated with tons of flavors of citrus, mineral, saltiness, olives, slate, wet stone. Tons of acid and structure. Long acidic finish. Great stuff. Likely to be long lived. Drink now (although it sill is not showing all its got) with pleasure, but probably best from 2024 to 2029, possibly much longer. Cellar selection. One of the best kosher dry whites ever made

October 30, 2021 - 93-95+. Very pale straw color. Somewhat muted bouquet with the little hint of spice, citrus, toastiness, nuttiness. On the pallet though there's nothing subtle about this. Light to medium bodied with very concentrated and intensive flavors of salt, mineral, flint, slate, citrus with hints of almonds and nuts on the finish. Loads of flavor and loads of acidity with a long acidic finish. This wine is amazing and the description and score cannot paint the full picture. An absolute must try. Cellar sselection. This can be drunk with pleasure now but I suspect it will actually improve more with time especially on the bouquet. If you can afford it it would be well worth getting a couple of cases of this wine and having a try every year. It's not cheap but it's one of the best kosher dry white Bordeaux that has been produced. Of note definitely if you buy it it's worth trying now as he sometimes will shut down for a little bit before reopening

October 8, 2021 - Château Malartic-Lagravière, Blanc, 2019: Pessac is the only Bordeaux appellation besides Sauternes and its neighbors (Barsac, Monbazillac, Cérons) that is celebrated also for its whites. One of only 6 Châteaux awarded the “Grand Cru Classé” title in the 1950s for both its red and white wines. When I heard this wine was made I was psyched! Having tasted the non kosher 2013/14/15/16/17s, I knew it was consistently among the very best white Bordeaux. This kosher 2019 certainly lived up to my expectations, delivering incredible depth, structure and complexity. I expect it to develop further and age respectably for 15-20 years. Bright gold with slightly green reflections. On the nose, lime peel, yellow grapefruit, citrus blossom, crème fraîche, with hints of wax and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, with nice viscosity and great tension on the palate. Deep and layered, the first attack is restrained and green but given vigorous swirling pops with generous notes of grapefruit, pomelo, white peach, salted almonds, earthy minerals, pith, high, intense yet well integrated acidity, creamy French butter, vanilla bean, with hints of lime zest and sourdough crust on a very long, elegant and plush finish. Gorgeous. 13.5% Abv. Drink 2024-2034, likely longer. 94-95
