  May 11, 2023 - We have been tasting these Sonoma, Russian River Pinots, not from the coast long enough to know what to expect. To me by Oregon and other Pinot known regions, they taste a bit flabby and over ripe. That doesn’t necessarily they are flawed, or the result of misguided grape growing and winemaking. This one has a dark purple, mostly opaque color. It has a soft fruity plum and wild berry approach. There is a touch of that sunburnt flavor with the fruit. There is some authentic earthy Pinot funk. A bit of oak. Very fruity from nose to finish and we gladly drank the whole bottle.
