October 1, 2020 - Great bottle of affordable Bordeaux. Very light body at this point. Improved over an hour after decanting. I'd say this has at least another year or two and is very food friendly.

September 27, 2014 - 4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Rich & Dana's): Aromas of dark fruit and plum, with herbs, maduro tobacco and earth adding complexity. Dusty, earthy dark fruit on the palate. Obviously Bordeaux, and I assumed this to be ours.

I'd like a little longer finish, but at this price I'm not complaining much.

September 27, 2014 - Another Allred contribution to 4th Saturday Group. Dusty Bordeaux profile, with a touch of plum on the finish. Guessed Bordeaux from a hot vintage.

August 3, 2013 - Great Value Here! I picked this up on the cheap on the off chance it'd be any good. I'm sure glad I did. Sweet cassis on the nose. Bright, balanced fruit and a nice savoury (if a little ill defined) backbone of well integrated tannin. The real surprise was the acid. Zingy and youthfull. Not at all overwhelming. It gave this wine the kind of electricity that you can find in good Cru Beaujolais.
It finishes a little short and lacks any kind of thoroughbred complexity but at this price, who cares?
