April 26, 2024 - A bit backwards and not showing enough fruit. Got a touch better with air but this wine seems to need more time. The muted fruit is showing crushed cherry flavors.

June 22, 2023 - Very disappointing. Lots of alcohol, very dry tanins, not much length. I hope the other ones will taste better.

April 18, 2023 - 67. Fresh and relaxed. Dryer tannins than others in this tasting. Slightly less acidity. But lovely black fruits and mint matching the red fruits. Long but slightly dull finish.

December 1, 2022 - A beautiful expression both of Verduno and the strong 2013 vintage, loaded with structure, power and also softer textures, as well as an overall ample profile. The typical spiciness arises quickly and melds with aromas of dried flowers & blossoms, tar, raspberry, pebbly earth and a drop of cherry liqueur. Savory endurance and finish.

October 21, 2022 - During a Barolo/Piedmont tasting lunch, not blind. Ahh, finally a light Barolo that feels like a Burgundy, as always struggling a bit with Nebbiolo tannins this afternoon. Beautiful nose of wild flowers, earthy floral, light, transluscent, elegant palate. Also in the top 3 for me this afternoon.
