August 2, 2023 - Light brown color. Surprising and pleasant acidity despite its age. Cedar, incense, faded roses, long.

July 4, 2023 - Opened this and it seemed very mildly corked. Nice on the palate but the nose was musty. Left half in a decanter and forgot about it for 24 hours. On revisiting, much fresher, med red fruits. Not revelatory, but nice.

January 15, 2023 - This was a great experience. Cherry, raspberry, some liquorice, thyme and rosemary, some cedar. Very fine sediment, which turned the last glass very cloudy. This will definitely keep for a few more years, so no hurry.

December 31, 2022 - Opened two bottles, one was corked. The good one was great, though. Cloudy brick red. Still lively and drinking well. Didn’t take real notes but it tasted much like I expected an aged Nebbiolo to taste.
