February 2, 2024 - From Magnum. PNP. this is densely syrah, but agree w not that Josh that this is too young - especially in this format. does benefit from air and is well made

January 26, 2024 - Didn't have time to decant. Would benefit from couple hours. Still quite young, will drink another bottle in 3 or 4 years. Black pepper, black olive, blueberry, herbaceous, grippy tannins but acid is balanced. All in all really fun and playful syrah, but needs some more time

August 26, 2023 - Light, savory cool-climate syrah. Olive/meat/herbal/stemmy/cluster nose; palate largely follows the nose with some black fruit in the background but this is more a fresh, savory wine without rich fruit. Body is on the lighter side, good acidity, overall very fresh.

January 15, 2023 - Coravin, one glass from untouched bottle. Tasted from Spiegelau Universal. Smooth and pleasant CdR. Floral, dark berries, some earth on nose. On the palate: relatively low on tannins, in the lower spectrum also on acidity and body. Has the typical Northern Rhône dark-berry sting, but also riper red berry notes, which actually made me want to double check whether this is 100% syrah (which it is). This warmer feel might be attributable to vintage and/or Brezeme being posititioned south in Northern Rhône. Pleasant and well-tuned through finish, with peppery tannins transcending melting with earthy notes, some minerals. Ok length, but not extreme. With creamy moose stew, it might have benefited from some more acid and tannins, but great easy drinking wine.

Google tells me spontaneous fermentation and whole bunch fermentation.

November 27, 2022 - Dark, opaque color, pleasant aroma of strawberry, raspberry, lavender and red licorice, the entry is soft, the mid palate builds more structure with vibrant acidity and spicy tannin, flavors of black cherry, raspberry, herbs and flower pedal, juicy and pure, youthful and food friendly, nice at this price point
