Community Tasting Notes 2

January 17, 2011 - gorgeous, bright ruby color. strawberries, cranberries on the nose, along with wet leaves and some sweetness. palate is medium bodied. tannins are still quite sturdy, with acid that bounces around the palate. gorgeous red plum flavors and sour cherry with tobacco and dust as well. acid is zesty on the finish. in great spot right now, but i'd reccomend drinking up in a year or so.

February 3, 2008 - Power-based fruit with a solid core, plummy. Decent acids. Some bite and a body that develops over time, though a bit soft. Leathery notes, aromatic tobacco. Medium persistence on the finish. Solid example of type.
