June 21, 2023 - Intense red fruit flavor. Hard to describe - strawberry, orange, and rhubarb? Juicy acidity and a medium+ length finish. Years of life still - tasty after two additional days.

Color: dark purple
Nose: strawberry jam, cream, vanilla. Quite intense
Palate: close to full body, medium-high acidity, light on the tannins. Confirms the nose and feels luscious
Finish: medium
This was a surprise, very vibrant, one guesses there is zinfandel here. I thought the wine was very well executed, with a nice line of acidity complementing the rich flavors -

September 24, 2022 - this note is after 6 hours of air: aromas of liqueur-like fruit, sweet red cherry, red plum, blackberry preserves, orange marmalade, dark chocolate, brick oven, diverse herbs and spices, damp dark soil... full-bodied, deep texture, plush and velvety, extra-fine tannins, layers of rich ripe fruit saturate the palate, perfectly balanced acid keeps everything fresh... all its elements are in harmony and despite its formidable power and weight, it hums a lively and intricate melody through the long complex finish. Cali heritage blends don't get better than this, I could see positive development for 10+
