July 24, 2013 - A deep purple ruby color with tawny thinning edges, this inexpensive pinot noir had a nose of ripe plum, dried fruits and a touch of earth. Quite broad though flat on the palate, its age showing, this was a pretty decent pairing with grilled salmon with cherry tomato vinaigrette. However, you are advised to drink up very soon!
