March 8, 2024 - greenish pale straw and mildly viscous. reticent on the nose, it took some coaxing for the white nectarine, quince and lemon aromas to come out. incredibly smooth texture over a seashell mineral base and under the high-toned acidity that run the length of the palate. the fruit has appreciable weight and some herbal accents. moderately long mineral finish.

seemingly balanced but still tad young. shows much promise.

13% AbV; 14-15 months' ageing, of which, for 50-60% of the wine 5-6 months were on fine lees in French oak barrels averaging 6 seasons of use.

September 10, 2023 - France Trip: Paris, Champagne, Burgundy; 9/3/2023-9/17/2023 (Paris, Champagne, Burgundy): Pale gold color. Drank a small glass at Domaine William Fevre. Warmest of the GC's. Epressive, steely, brine, green apple, anise, long. Excellent.

July 28, 2023 - Fine, rich lemony, slightly smoky nose. Shows the ripeness of 2020.
Rich, clean, fine, long. Good weight. Good balance. A baby. Should evolve nicely. Perhaps a little light for a GC.

February 18, 2023 - Chablis (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Medium minus intensity aromas of a touch of wild nectarine, lemon with a touch of lime, Juicy, fleshy, a little textured burr but quite lightweight fruit profile, it's a bit meh for me especially at AUD250 a bottle.

July 8, 2022 - Yes, this is too young, but with a bit of air, this starts arriving. Very clean, vibrant, intense with minerals, citrus and hints of butter, quite a smooth wine.
