July 22, 2023 - (Decanted for one hour)
Deep red colour with a youthful nose showing sweet violets, licorice and herbs and some hints of oak in a very nice and pleasant way. Balanced on the palate with young tannins and showing morello cherry fruit and some herbs. Very nice with lasagna tonight.

May 29, 2023 - Don't mind the lukewarm reviews. This is a fantastic wine for the price (I paid about $15 US in Canada). Still young, but with a couple of hours decant it shows bright cherry and stewed red plums balanced with fresh acidity. Can't ask for more at this price and it will only get better in the next 5 years or so.

October 3, 2022 - eye: clear, M intensity, light ruby, no clear core.
nose: no flaws, M intensity, a bit closed, M-M+ oak,
fruit: red fruits; more on the ripe fruit side, with cherry, some plummy note. the oak dominates with some earthy.
palette: M-M+ acid, M-M+ tannin, M+ complex, good balance, M+ length. the fruit comes forward. M-M+ alcohol.
a good wine, good wine if you want something a bit more complex for a reasonable price, it idelivered. the tannins may be a bit too much still so should decant, hard to find fruit as well so decant 1 hour before drinking. can age well, ready to drink now but can age.1 person found this helpful Comment -
