December 24, 2023 - This is the Derby Wine Estates Maneater, v.2016, bought at the tasting room. Great stuff…especially with regard to the tail. It’s a smooth ride, from nose to palate to finish. I’m not a fan of pure Zin, so the Petite Sirah adds this a pleasant depth while also giving it the light fruit infusion to make this very accessible. Full bodied, also in the mouth, medium acidity. Perfect window to enjoy, imho.
