November 12, 2015 - Yummy. Licorice and dirt, nice long finish. Why we like Gigondas.

March 17, 2013 - deep purple color with slight tawny edge. Very peppery, briary nose framing dark fruits and berries, smooth tannins, good balance, long finish. What it lacks in elegance it makes up in grit and intensity.

July 31, 2012 - What a delight. Fading color at the rim, nose rather withdrawn, but the taste - oh, the taste. Sweet fruit, garrigue, still a tight, light, very old world character, mature, but only just. This wine (in all vintages9 is turning out to be one of top three favorits of the aoc, and I prefer it to the Font de Tonin, also here, tasted vis a vis. (AD's birthday, Kandestederne)

April 29, 2012 - Found this only bottle without searching in the cellar, sleeping there since 2003, bought for only 14€.......what a surprise, still fresh, herb, no marmeladefruitcocktail, spices, earthy, very long, but has to be drink up now.

May 3, 2011 - Deep, dark, dense and chewy, packed with flavor and bouquet of dark fruits. Good balance, not at all hot for its 14.5% alcohol. Years of life left in this wine.
