September 18, 2023 - Not too bad for inexpensive Bdx at Trader Joes- it definitely feels like "real" wine, with faint reddish plum fruit and touches of earthy nuance. That said, it's quite green, and feels close to underripe as the leafy, almost smoky tobacco mostly overwhelms the fruit, and makes the palate feel a bit rustic and tart. A bit thin, even if some nice fruit comes through occasionally. Not bad as a food wine, but outclassed by many a Côtes-du-Rhone, for example, and by the few other ~$15 Bdxs I've tried, too.

August 19, 2022 - I find this Bordeaux St. Emilion wine to be very nice for the price! Just $15 at Trader Joe’s I would buy and drink this one again.
